Mætis arbo is one of the largest organizations in the field of occupational safety and health care and human resource management with an extensive range of specialisations on offer. We provide services and advice to 55.000 employers, representing some 650.000 employees, in the field of optimal working conditions, accelerated reintegration and active handling of causes of absenteeism and occupational disability.
Mætis arbo operates with a staff of 1,000 from 23 regional offices and an additional 45 centres. This enables companies operating nationwide as well as local entrepreneurs to find an office in their area.
We also employ our knowledge and experience in the field of healthy employment for our own organization. In 2003, absenteeism at Mætis arbo declined from 8.6% to less than 5% and new disability benefit claimants sharply declined as well: from 3% in 2002 to 0.7% in 2003. This provides the best proof of the efficacy of our approach.
